Your STL priced in about ten seconds.
Drop a file in below. Our engine measures the real geometry and gives you a price and a ship date — no sales call, no "contact us for pricing". All prices in Canadian dollars.
Confirm your email to start quoting
One quick step, then upload as many files as you like. It keeps bots off the machine and means your quote is saved against a real address.

Default settings for new files — every part can be changed individually after upload
Got a STEP, IGES, 3MF or SolidWorks file instead? Send it through the contact form and we will quote it by hand within one business day — same pricing, just not instant.
What the engine actually does
It is not a guess based on a bounding box. Every upload is measured properly on our server:
- True mesh volume
- Signed-tetrahedron
- Surface area → shell mass
- Per wall setting
- Overhang area
- Support estimate
- Layer count × height
- Machine hours
- Build envelope check
- 250 × 250 × 250 mm
If a part is too big, too thin or not watertight, we tell you on the spot instead of surprising you later. Parts larger than the envelope get split on a sensible seam and bonded — ask us.
Why the price is what it is
No mystery multipliers. Your quote is the sum of four things:
- Material
- Grams × $/kg
- Machine time
- $9.00/hour
- Hands-on labour
- $48/hour
- Setup per part
- $14.00 once
Setup is charged once per unique part, not per piece — which is exactly why the tenth copy costs so much less than the first. Shipping is quoted separately at the carrier's real rate.
Three materials, chosen because they cover almost everything
We run FDM only, and we run it properly. Rather than stocking twenty filaments we run three well, in four colours each, and know exactly how they behave.
PLA
Stiff, dimensionally accurate, best surface finish. Great for fit checks, appearance models and jigs that stay indoors.
- Heat resistance
- Up to ~55 C
- Stock colours
- Black, White, Grey, Orange
- Material cost
- $28/kg
PETG
Tough and chemical resistant with some flex. Our default for functional parts, enclosures and anything that sees moisture.
- Heat resistance
- Up to ~75 C
- Stock colours
- Black, White, Grey, Clear
- Material cost
- $34/kg
ABS
Heat and impact resistant, machinable, glues and vapour-smooths well. Chosen for automotive, engine bay and outdoor parts.
- Heat resistance
- Up to ~95 C
- Stock colours
- Black, White, Grey, Natural
- Material cost
- $36/kg
Need a colour we do not stock, or nylon, carbon-fibre filled, TPU, resin or metal? Ask us — we buy to order for production runs, and we have local and overseas partners for processes we do not run in house.
From file to doorstep
- Upload and price it yourselfEvery geometry number comes off the actual mesh. Change material or quantity and the price updates instantly.
- We check it before we printA person reviews wall thickness, orientation and support strategy. If something will not work, we tell you and suggest a fix.
- Production in TorontoPrinted on our own machines. Anything outside our process goes to a vetted partner, and we stay responsible for the whole job.
- Finish, assemble, inspectSupports removed, inserts installed, hardware fitted, parts counted. All assembly happens here in Canada.
- Track it the whole wayYour reference number shows live status from received through to shipped, with carrier tracking when it leaves.
The price per part falls as the run grows
Applied automatically in the quoting tool — you do not have to ask, and you do not have to commit to a year of forecasts to get them.
Note the honest shape of this: the per-part discount is real but modest, because printing the fiftieth part genuinely costs almost as much as printing the first. The big saving at volume is the $14.00 setup being charged once per part number rather than once per piece.
| Quantity | Price per part |
|---|---|
| 1 – 4 | Base price |
| 5+ | 4% less |
| 10+ | 7% less |
| 25+ | 10% less |
| 50+ | 13% less |
| 100+ | 16% less |
| 250+ | 20% less |
Running more than the table shows? Good — talk to us. We specialise in low volume but we do not have an upper limit, and larger runs get quoted properly rather than by formula.
Before you upload
Is the instant price the final price?
Almost always, yes. We review every file before printing, and if something about the geometry changes the cost — a part that needs sectioning, a support strategy that will not survive removal, a wall thinner than a nozzle — we come back to you with the reason and a revised number before anything is charged or printed.
Is shipping included in the quoted price?
No. Part prices exclude shipping and HST. At checkout we measure the actual parcel, ask the carriers for live rates, and show you the real options — you pick the service and speed. Toronto pickup is free.
What tolerances can you hold?
As a rule, ±0.3 mm or ±0.3% of the dimension, whichever is larger, on FDM parts. Holes print slightly undersized and we can ream critical ones. If a feature must be tighter than that, tell us which dimension matters and we will either machine it as a secondary operation or tell you honestly that FDM is the wrong process.
Can you install threaded inserts?
Yes — tick the box on any part in the quoting tool and choose how many. We heat-set brass inserts at $0.75 each, installed and inspected. It is the right way to put a reusable thread in a printed part.
Who owns my files, and do you keep them?
You do. We store your STL only to produce your parts and to let you reorder. We never publish, resell or share your geometry, and we will delete it on request. Happy to sign your NDA — send it with your enquiry.
Do you do more than printing?
Yes — that is the bigger half of the business. Heat-set inserts, tapping, fastener installation, bonding, light machining, kitting and packaging, plus managed sourcing for parts we do not make ourselves. See the contract manufacturing page.
